Fundraiser for Polly Leporowski to Help With Medical Bills – Saturday, June 22, 2013
WHERE: Knights Of Columbus Monsignor Hunt. 7080 Garling Dr, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127.
LOCATION: west of Evergreen Rd, south of Warren Rd.

DETAILS: Polly is battling cancer and this is to help with her mounting medical bills. By special request, Mike will be headlining this fundraiser using his previous DJ Persona – Madman Mike Your Musical Slave – made famous during his Warrendale and Longshots years. There will be Door Prizes, 50/50 rafle, beer, wine, pizza and more. dress code: comfortable, casual. Music Slavin Mike is donating his time. Tickets are $20 each.

Michigan Vet Fest Summer Benefit Concert – Saturday, July 27, 2013
WHERE: at Motor City Eagles (F.O.E. 2265). 24401 5 Mile Rd, Redford, MI 48239.
LOCATION: south side of 5 Mile, just west of Telegraph Rd. near Tim Hortons and McDonald's.

DETAILS: Anticipated bands (not confirmed) include Brownsville Station who did the original hit version of the song “Smokin' In The Boys Room” later covered by Motley Crue. Plus Ratzass, Salem Witchcraft, Sweet Crystal, Outlaw Social Club, other bands and musicians. There will also be raffles, prizes and giveaways.

Free admission but consider a donation of $5 (or more) at door because 100% of proceeds will be donated to Veterans Haven (in Wayne, MI), the Wounded Warrior Project, and Soldiers Angels.

Music Slavin Mike will one of the MC's during the event.

• Halloween Party at Blue Tractor BBQ & Brewery in Ann Arbor
Date: Wednesday, October 31, 2012 - Halloween Night.

• Trilogy Band's 5th Annual MDA Benefit Concert at the Trenton Village Theater in Trenton, MI.
Date: Friday, October 12, 2012. doors open at 7:30 pm.
Location: 2447 West Jefferson Ave, Trenton, MI (between King Rd and West Rd, south of Detroit).

Madman Mike Your Musical Slave was the Official Emcee for this benefit concert that featured Door Prizes and Music. Gary Lang and Chris Johnson were the openers, each performing their originals. A featured show set by the Trilogy Band followed. Benefit raised money to send kids to the MDA summer camp (Camp Caville) in Lexington, MI. MDA is the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

• June 24, 2012 - Sunday - Max and Erma's (Sterling Heights) 1st Annual Car Show
Location: 44899 Mound Rd (corner of M-59), Sterling Heights, MI 48314. phone 586-323-2100.

Mike "Your Musical Slave" was spinning oldies music and doing announcements. You could check out cars, enjoy great food, and/or register your own car for the show. Proceeds went to charity. Drivers were able to have food delivered to their car from Max and Erma's throughout the show. Also a 50/50 raffle throughout the show.

Car Show Follow-Up: good weather, lots of vehicles, proceeds went to Special Olympics.



• June 10, 2012 - Sunday - Fundraiser for Don & Sue Adkins
Charity Fundraiser to help friend with medical bills - details on Facebook

Location: Redford Moose, 24601 5 Mile Rd, Redford Township, MI 48239. phone 313-535-6840.

Don had Stage 3 Cancer, going through chemo, needs help with medical bills. Event was put on by his family, I volunteered my DJ Service. Items were raffled and auctioned, 50/50 raffle, mostaccioli and pizza dinner.
