Posted Prices are FLAT RATES - No Per-Hour charges, Any Amount of Time, No Time Limit.
Posted Prices are also the TOTAL PRICES - meaning No Hidden Costs.

Posted Prices are for the Greater Metro Detroit area and Southeast Michigan.
Other areas in MI may cost more due to the cost of gas.

WEDDING DJ PRICES AND SPECIAL EVENT PRICES FOR THE METRO DETROIT AREA
Special Events are Banquets, Holiday Parties, Class Reunions, Corporate, Private Parties, etc.
Wedding Prices and Special Event Prices are the same, and determined by day of the week.

Reminder → Mike charges by day of the week… not by the hour, not by type of event.
   Example: 3 hours, 5 hours, 8 hours all have same price.  explanation on separate page
   Example: wedding, holiday party, graduation, etc., all have same price on same event date.

• Deposits are Required and Not Refundable.
   one exception: if you cancel but date is re-booked at same price, deposit is refunded.
• Deposits are SUBTRACTED from total Price.

• Balance (price minus deposit) to be paid at BEGINNING of your event.
• Mike's peace of mind factor: you don't pay in full before your event!

• Mike is your DJ - automatically included.
• Back-up DJ equipment is at your event - automatically included.
• Normal Set-Up and Tear-Down (loading-in/out) - automatically included.
• Mike sets up before your event starts - automatically included.
• Lights for dancing - automatically included (if desired).
• Hand-held wireless microphone - automatically included.
• Mike's Assistant to help him coordinate and act as back-up DJ - automatically included.
• Only one event booked per day. no potential over-booking or double-bookings.
• Hear the music you like, avoid what you don't want.
• Specific song/artist requests are allowed - no charge.
• Dinner music - if desired - automatically included.
• Music for Arrival of Guests and Cocktails - if desired - no charge if in same room.
• Brings his own On-The-Job Wi-Fi access to AmazonMP3 and iTunes (most locations).
   He can download special requests at the same he is playing other songs!
   That means at most locations, nobody can offer more music selections than Mike.
• Proper DJ Attire - automatically included. Black Tux to suit or theme. your choice.
• Available for pre-event meeting(s) to go over details - automatically included.
• DJ Liability insurance - if required - is included.
• Mike has experience at many halls and banquet centers.  see list on separate page

→ Mike uses TWO Laptops with Digital DJ MP3 Mixers and a Dual CD Player. That means no pauses between songs, no dead air, no down time. If a laptop should ever have a problem, he keeps on playing! You get an extra laptop and dual cd player hooked up and ready at all times as instant music playing back-up. You hire a DJ for music and Mike makes triple sure you will have it.

→ At Weddings and serious events Mike appropriately refers to himself only as Michael or Mike, unless requested otherwise. "Madman Mike Your Music Slave" is used primarily for public events.

No extra costs if indoors at a normal venue, don't have to carry DJ Equipment up/down flight(s) of stairs, 400 people or less, one entertainment area, and in the Greater Metro Detroit area. Ann Arbor, Southgate, Flint, St. Clair Shores, Hartland, Rochester Hills, etc. are in Greater Metro Detroit.

• Additional Travel/Gas Charge if not in the Greater Metro Detroit area
Gas charge would depend on distance to your event from the City of Southfield which is located in the center of Metro Detroit and the anticipated price of gas at the time of your event date.

• Supplying a P.A. for 400+ guests would cost more - because extra P.A. equipment would be required and perhaps another vehicle to transport it.

• Outdoors: in case of rain, having Mike supply his own shelter to cover his electrical DJ equipment costs more because of the need to hire an assistant who is physically able to help put up - then - take down a portable shelter.

• Carrying DJ Equipment up and down flight(s) of stairs with NO Elevator would cost much more because of additional cost to hire another dependable assistant to lift Mike's professional equip at the beginning AND end of event.

• Loading Docks that are wall-only with no ramps/elevators (i.e. Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center) would cost more because additional roadies or special loading equipment will be required.

• Additional Special Lighting costs more - (normal lights are already included, no charge).

• Expensive Novelties cost extra - non-reusable to be purchased for just one event.

• Simultaneously supplying two full sets of DJ equipment (same event, two different areas) will cost double because additional vehicle, DJ and DJ set-up would be required.

• NOTE - Bubble machine is no longer available due to our "slip & fall" frivolous lawsuit crazed society.
  "I haven't been sued - just avoiding that obvious future possibility."

Considering the fact that Mike is well-known and respected, has 30 years of Mobile DJ experience, professional dj equipment, access to over 17 million songs, an extensive no hidden information website and gives you free access to his entertainment resources, Mike's rates are incredibly low.
