• Saturday
• $700 or more*.
Deposit: $300 (non-refundable. However, it is deducted from total cost).
Balance: (total cost minus deposit) is to be paid at beginning of event.
Included: Price includes any amount of time, anti-skip CD players, lights, wireless mic, large amount of music and more including back-up equipment on site at your event.
• Friday
• $600 or more*.
Deposit: $300 (non-refundable. However, it is deducted from total cost).
Balance: (total cost minus deposit) is to be paid at beginning of event.
Included: Price includes any amount of time, anti-skip CD players, lights, wireless mic, large amount of music and more including back-up equipment on site at your event.
• Sunday through Thursday event not on a legal federal holiday is:
• $400 or more*. (Holiday Rate: $650)
Deposit: $200 non-refundable. However, it is deducted from total cost).
Balance: (total cost minus deposit) is to be paid at beginning of event.
Included: Price includes any amount of time, anti-skip CD players, lights, wireless mic, large amount of music and more including back-up DJ equipment on site at your event.
• New Years Eve is $1,300 or more* and includes Mike all night long!
Deposit: Required Deposit of $400 is non-refundable (however, it is deducted from total cost).
Balance: (total cost minus deposit) must be paid before midnight.
Included: Price includes any amount of time, anti-skip CD players, lights, wireless mic, large amount of music and more. Back-up DJ equipment will be on site at your event.
• Bars have a MUCH LOWER and negotiable rate structure based upon other unique criteria.

• Legitimate Charity events sundays through thursdays - no charge. for details, click here
• All Charity events are charged the full rate on fridays & saturdays.
Notes of Interest
• Mike has up-to-date DJ Liability insurance.
• Only one event scheduled per day - no potential over-booking, double-booking conflicts.
• No extra charge for lights, wireless microphone, setting up early.
• No extra charge for specific song/artist requests.
• Normal Set-Up and Tear-Down has no cost.
• Mike is the DJ for all contracted events - not some fill in.
(However, in case of an emergency, Mike is associated with other DJs.)
• Back-up DJ equipment is at your event - no charge.
• Mike owns dependable DJ transportation: a low mileage 2005 full size van
• Mike's contract consists of one page without any "fine print".
• Choose the music you like. Eliminate the music you don't like.
• "all weekend" rates available. Rates depend on event requirements.
• Fog machine (that doesn't use dry ice), if requested, is included, no charge.
• Bubble machine is no longer available due to our "slip & fall" frivolous lawsuit crazed society.
"No, I haven't been sued - just avoiding that obvious future possibility."
• At formal events, Mike appropriately refer to himself as "Michael (or Mike), your DJ" unless requested otherwise. The
"Madman" part of it is generally for bars, parties, public events ...
IMPORTANT: If for any reason you cancel Mike's DJ Service within three months of a friday/saturday contracted date,
YOU WILL STILL OWE THE BALANCE which must be paid by the contracted date (exception: if date is re-booked, then no balance is owed).

• Ceremony music (if desired) - no charge if in the same room as reception.
• Arrival of guests, pre-dinner music (if desired) - no charge if in same room.
• Dinner music of your choice (if desired) - no charge.
• Just playing music (no talk) or with Emcee duties - no extra charge either way.
• Available for pre-event meeting(s) to go over details - no charge if in Metro Detroit
• Mike has an assistant with him to help coordinate and act as back-up DJ - no charge.
• Dinner for Mike and his assistant is NOT REQUIRED - but is appreciated.
• DJ Attire: Black Tux is automatically included (suit & theme also available, no charge).
• Mike owns and uses professional (commercial) DJ equipment.
• Mike owns dependable DJ transportation: a clean, low mileage full-size van, no markings.
• Most everything DJ related is automatically included. No attempts to "nickel & dime" anyone.

Reasons for or more* (potential additional costs)
• Additional Gas Charge if not in southeast Michigan. Mike's DJ equipment requires the use of a full size van. Driving to and from some areas in Michigan costs over $100 dollars.
• Outdoors: in case of rain, having Mike supply his own shelter to cover his electrical DJ equipment costs more because of the need to hire an assistant who is physically able to help put up - then - take down a portable shelter.
• Carrying DJ Equipment up and down flight(s) of stairs with NO Elevator would cost much more because of additional cost to hire another dependable assistant to lift Mike's professional equipment at the beginning AND end of event.
• Loading Docks that are wall-only with no ramps/elevators (i.e. Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center) would cost more because additional roadies or special loading equipment will be required.
• Supplying a P.A. for 400+ guests would cost more because extra P.A. equipment would be required and perhaps another vehicle to transport it.
• Additional Special Lighting costs more (atmosphere rotating multi-colored lighting is already included, no charge).
• Expensive Novelties - the non-reusable type that need to be purchased for just one event cost extra.
• Simultaneously supplying two full sets of DJ equipment (same event, two different areas) will cost double because additional vehicle, DJ and DJ set-up would be required.
