Since people count on me to be helpful, I am letting you know some of their important rules.
They are quoted directly from Laurel Manor on Aug 26, 2008. Here is what you need to know ...
For Lessees:
"Laurel Manor suggests that you extend a copy of our regulations to the BAND, DJ, FLORIST, BAKER, DECORATOR and any other outside contracted services. Failure to comply with LAUREL MANOR'S rules and regulations will result in a percentage of LESSEE'S deposit forfeited."
Madman Mike says ALL with a vested interest should know at least three of their important rules and regulations.
Why? Whether vendors or guests goof up, The Lessee Pays These Fees.
"BAND, DJ, FLORIST, DECORATOR, and BAKER must be completely set-up one Hour PRIOR to function; if not, a $100 fee will be applied."
"NO SMOKE or FOG machines are permitted. If such machines are used, a $500 fee will be incurred."
"ABSOLUTELY NO CONFETTI, DANCE DUST, GLITTER, SILLY STRING, BALLOON DROPS, OR BUBBLES ARE ALLOWED INSIDE LAUREL MANOR. IF USED, A $250 CLEAN-UP FEE WILL BE ASSESSED."
"BAND and DJ must be in PROFFESIONAL ATTIRE prior to start of the function."
→ TIP FOR THOSE HIRING A DJ, BAND/ENTERTAINER: If your desired entertainment charges by the hour, will they charge you an additional hour for Laurel Manor's rule that they must be completely set-up ONE HOUR BEFORE your event even starts?
Mike does not charge by the hour, has DJ'd at Laurel Manor many times and NEVER had a problem. He has always respected and complied with their rules and regulations.
